The Mason Enterprise Center offers expert consultation and training to the region’s small business owners and entrepreneurs through a wide array of programs such as conferences, workshops, and executive education programs.

Sean Mallon

AVP for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Office of the Provost, George Mason University

The scope of Mallon’s position at Mason includes identifying, assisting, and encouraging entrepreneurial activity within the Mason community.

New businesses that gain market acceptance also could attract federal funding and outside capital investment, Mallon says. He wants "Mason entrepreneurs to be able to compete on a national and international level,”

Mallon plans to serve as a connection between Mason and the business community.When there is a startup that’s far enough along,  Mallon can reach out to angel investors.

Jody Keenan

Ms. Keenan has been with the Mason Enterprise Center since 1996 and was named Managing Director of the Mason Enterprise Center in 2011. She has been the State Director of the SBDC Network since 2003.
