Public Works maintains the city’s roadways, pedestrian facilities, bridges, historic brick sidewalks, traffic signals, sewers and storm drains. The right-of-way crew provides colorful, award-winning flower displays throughout the city. Trash is picked up weekly by the friendly, dedicated sanitation crew. Our CUE Bus drivers will give passengers a tour around the city or take them to their favorite city destinations. The department also is in charge of transportation planning, administering construction contracts, engineering, and maintaining the city’s facilities and vehicles.
