Among my duties, I prepare and review the city Comprehensive Plan; review and act on applications to subdivide land; and make recommendations to the City Council on the Capital Improvement Program, applications for rezoning, and zoning text amendments.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB) is an advisory group to City Council. PRAB ensures adequate coordination of all matters affecting policy of joint community use of schools, and in rendering advice or making recommendations to City Council as to program, acquisition or development, the board gives consideration to implementation and financing in coordination with the Parks and Recreation Department.
