About Mason’s Shuttle Services
Mason provides free transportation for students, faculty, staff and contracted services employees.
There are six shuttle services: (see Transportation Guide below for schedules).
- Sandy Creek Transit Center – Vienna Metro (formerlyMason to Metro)
The shuttle runs between Fairfax Campus and Vienna Metro station. On the weekend, the shuttle also stops at Mason Townhouses (at Chain Bridge Road & West St.) and Fairfax Circle (at Lee Highway & Circle Woods Drive). - Global Center – Vienna Metro (formerly Metro Express)
The shuttle runs between Global Center, The RAC, Rappahannock River Ln. Shelter# 1, and Vienna Metro. - Burke Centre VRE Express – FREE GARAGE PARKING
The shuttle runs between Burke Centre VRE train station Sandy Creek Transit Center and The Finley lot shuttle stop on the Fairfax Campus. The shuttle only runs when the VRE train is in service. - West Campus Shuttle
The shuttle runs between West Campus, Field House, The RAC, Mason Pond Dr., Presidents Park, Masonvale (Patriot Cir.& Staffordshire Ln) and Rappahannock River Ln. Shelter #3. - SciTech Campus Shuttle
The SciTech Campus shuttle runs seven days a week between the Fairfax and SciTech campuses. On Mon-Thu, the shuttle runs every thirty minutes during the day. The shuttle also stops at Manassas Mall. - Gunston’s Go-Bus
The Gunston’s Go-Bus picks up at The RAC and the Presidents Park stop and provides service from Fairfax campus to University Mall, Fair Lakes Center, Fair Oaks Mall, Ridge Top Road, Fairfax Corner, and Old Town Fairfax.
Mason Shuttles use a new real-time transit service called RideSystems. Download the RideSystems app and select George Mason University or visit mason.ridesystems.net and to view real-time arrival information.
